Had a Bold Rock while I was waiting then we both opted for a cup of the chicken, shrimp gumbo followed by a dream steam pot with oysters, shrimp, crab legs, corn and clams. All was served with horseradish, cocktail and drawn butter and crab crackers.
Everything was steamed perfectly and tasted very fresh.
The bar tender provided great service and took care of our every need.
I highly recommend this establishment for any seafood lovers in the Winston area. -

We stopped in Winston-Salem, NC on our way to Atlanta for summer vacation. We were a little concerned because the place was packed and we thought we may not get a seat.
Well thank goodness we waited for a seat inside as the food was awesome. My husband and I got the special which included King crab legs, snow crab legs and Dungeness crab legs, corn on the cob, sausage, potatoes. It was so filling. The presentation was awesome. I hate that I did not take a picture but when I thought about it I had already eaten half my plate.
My two sons got the snow crabs, with corn, sausage and one which was the broccoli and both devoured their food. They had nothing left and they are 11 and 8. My youngest got shrimp and french fries and he ate all of his food except some of his fries.
I also ordered the lobster bisque for both myself and son and it was so good. The amount of lobster meat was amazing and I really enjoyed it. They have two locations in the Winston-Salem area but we went to the one downtown and it was awesome. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgable and she kept our table clear and drinks filled.
If you are in the area and love seafood, consider eating there you won't be disappointed. -

Had a recent meetup and afterwards we decided to grab a bite. This place is located downtown and it's pretty cool! They offer inside and outside seating. We parked in a decked so we had to pay...plenty of parking just be careful if you park on the street. Service was accurate and fast! It was large group so that's a plus! I ordered the blackened chicken and shrimp with pasta. To my surprise I was served a lot of meat...just like I like it lol. Food was fresh and tasteful I'll defiantly come again when I am in the area!

I have a great experience every time. It's the perfect little spot for lunch. The food is always served hot and in a timely manner. You can taste the freshness in the food. I can always count on good service and a clean environment. The servers always look to be having a good time which must say something about the working conditions and management. Everyone seems to get along and helps each other out. Dawn is the daytime bartender/manager and is always on her game and ready to help. Dinners are just as spectacular. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat, perfect for a rum bucket with a friend to unwind from a long day. The menu is so creative and has a little something for everyone. If you are craving crab legs then, look no further. You won't be disappointed! Oh! And the oysters rockerfeller, yummmmm.

Wow was I surprised! Up until now I hadn't ever checked this place out, and it turns out I should have. I assumed based on the location and prices that the food was going to be... Subpar. At least for the price, since everything in downtown is a bit pricier, I was expecting mediocre Seafood. It turns out I think this is one of the most reasonably priced downtown shops imho.
The food is phenomenal! The seafood all tasted amazingly fresh and of great quality. Between the six of us that winds there was a variety of food tasted and not one person had a complaint on any of it. The surprise hit for me was the flavor of the mussels. Though for some in our party it actually was the fried okra who almost everyone who tried it declared it was the best fried okra that had ever. I am eating keto at the moment and therefore couldn't chime in on this, but I will assume it's pretty high up there since they are all very traveled as it were. Everything else I had was great, including the crab legs of course.
As for drinks, again something I couldn't participate in this time, there was a lot of high praise for the rum based drinks. The $10 drink was a lot bigger and even did a number on my more alcohol tolerant friend.
And usually don't write reviews after only visiting a place once, unless they blow me away like this place did. I can't wait to go back and try this again, especially when I can try the okra.
